Crimson
Gala - A mutation of the Stark Royal Gala Tenroy cultivar
discovered by H.Kent Waliser of Milton-Freewater, Orgeon. Ripens
July to early August. Crimson Gala colors earlier than other Gala
strains, developing an overall bright, cherry-red skin. Flesh
is white with a yellowish tent. Poolinator recommended.
Granny
Smith - Harvests August 25 - September 20. Large, firm
green apple. Flavore is sweet and tart. Excellent storage capability.
Resists bruising.
Sommerfeld
- Harvests in early August to September. Originated as a chance
seedling with the assumption the parents are standard Fuji and
Royal Gala. Fruit is large, sweet, juicy and very well balanced.
The color is yellow/green with a reddish, stripped blush. Fruit
is firm and storage is better than standard Gala and slightly
below Fuji.
